This document explains the TAND3M's fee rates and how they apply to your token or NFT sale.
Overview of the Fee Structure
TAND3M operates on a tiered fee structure to ensure that startups pay fees proportional to the scale of their token or NFT sales. The structure is divided into three tiers:
Falcon 1
$0 - $250,000
6.00%
Ariane 5
$250,001 - $500,000
4.50%
Saturn V
$500,001 and above
3.00%
How Fees Are Calculated
Fees are calculated based on the total sale amount and the applicable tier rates. Each tier is applied incrementally, meaning:
The Falcon 1 rate of 6.00% applies to the first $250,000 of the sale.
The Ariane 5 rate of 4.50% applies to the portion of the sale between $250,001 and $500,000.
The Saturn V rate of 3.00% applies to any amount exceeding $500,000.
Example Calculation
For a total sale of $400,000:
The first $250,000 is charged at 6.00%, resulting in a fee of $15,000.
The next $150,000 (from $250,001 to $400,000) is charged at 4.50%, resulting in a fee of $6,750.
The total fee is $15,000 + $6,750 = $21,750.
Effective Commission Rate
The overall percentage of fees paid, or the "effective fee rate," decreases as the total sale amount increases. For example:
At a sale of $250,000, the effective fee rate is 6.00%.
At a sale of $400,000, the effective fee rate is approximately 5.44%.
At a sale of $750,000, the effective fee rate drops to about 4.67%
Why a Tiered Structure?
This approach ensures:
Fairness: Startups with smaller sales contribute proportionally to their earnings.
Scalability: Larger sales benefit from lower marginal rates, enabling reinvestment into your business.
