Step 2: Campaign Definition

In this step, you will define the core aspects of your campaign, including its name, category, description, and any restrictions on participation. This step is crucial for presenting your project to potential backers and setting the right context for your token sale.

Information to Enter

βœ”οΈŽ Campaign Name

This is the name that will appear publicly for your Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) campaign. Choose a name that reflects the purpose of your project and grabs the attention of potential backers.

The campaign’s token name and symbol are displayed on the right-hand side as a reminder of the assets involved in the LBP.

βœ”οΈŽ Campaign Category

This dropdown allows you to categorize your campaign based on its primary focus. Options might include categories like "Gaming and Metaverse," "DeFi," "Art and NFTs," etc. The category helps backers find projects they are interested in.

βœ”οΈŽ Campaign Description

The campaign description is where you communicate the mission, goals, and unique aspects of your project. This is your opportunity to clearly explain the value proposition and why backers should participate in your LBP.

For convenience, you can either paste a preformatted description or use the available formatting tools (bold, italics, headers, etc.) to enhance readability and make the description visually appealing.

βœ”οΈŽ Geo-Blocked Countries

By default, countries under international sanctions are automatically geo-blocked by the platform. In some cases, you may need to restrict participation from certain additional countries due to legal or regulatory reasons. Use this field to select the countries where you do not want your campaign to be accessible.

Next Steps:

Once the campaign definition is complete and all fields are filled in, click Next to proceed to the third step: Campaign Links. This step will involve providing links to your project’s website, social media, and other external resources to help backers learn more about your campaign.
